“My husband and I looooved our stay in Clarens House, there was absolutely nothing that we needed that is not already in the house and the layout is very comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the stoep and looking at the mountains and the lovely, well maintained garden. The house is so well located, we could easily explore the town from the house on foot. Communication leading up to our stay was extremely professional and friendly. We will most definitely book this accommodation for our next visit to Clarens.”

Clarens House is a wonderful place to spend time at in Clarens. Close to all amenities with an awesome kitchen and public kuier area. We found it exceptional and very special.

Great place with surely no lack of personality and once you enter the house you can quickly see why – spotlessly clean, great rooms, relaxed atmosphere, very reasonably priced, great view and interior art and a nice home away from home atmosphere that also allows you to wind down after a day’s work as you would at home, it’s a no brainer to return in future.

Hearing about the little town Clarens we chose this place as it promised to be quiet and walking distance to basically everything in town. We had a wonderful time with the host being very helpful and knowledgeable regarding the town’s attractions. It exceeded our expectations as the photos online could not justify the atmosphere.  Comfortable, well furnished rooms.  Wi-Fi access was a bonus.  Will be booking here again, thanks!

“What a amazing little place! it’s clean and beautifully decorated. the views from the patio is just stunning. we loved the fact that we were walking distance from all the restaurants and little shops. early morning walks into the mountains are also walking distance from the house. Our dog came with with lots of space outside to run around and explore. Gavin was clear and helpfull on the instructions and how to get to the house we had no issues with getting to the house and leaving. Will definitely be visiting Clarens House again and soon.”

This was our first stay at the Clarens House (it is a super new addition to the town), highly recommendable.  Rooms are comfortable and inspiring with stunning decor, clean and comfortable beds. We mostly valued the braai area and also the combustion fireplace heating up the entire area. The nearby hiking trails and cycling paths take you away into a relaxed and peaceful environment. Excellent for families, look no further and book your next stay with this well-kept house in the middle of town.
